Download the Hangar Waiting List Application, complete, and return to cochran.airport@gmail.com. Please note, the $200 refundable deposit* must also be received in order to be placed on a list.

*The deposit is only refundable prior to the signing of a Hangar Lease Agreement. 

There are a variety of ways to pay the deposit: 

1. You can mail a certified bank check, payable to the Cochran Municipal Airport, to: 829 GA Hwy 126, Cochran, Georgia 31014. 

2. You can pay online by using the "Buy Now" button, found at the bottom of this page.

3. You can visit the airport and pay in person either with cash or a major credit card.

Please note: Personal Checks are NOT accepted.

One hangar "space" can accomodate a maximum aircraft size of:

LENTH = 29'

WINGSPAN = 37'

HEIGHT = 13'

Aircraft that exceed one hangar space, may apply for a Main Hangar space; however, as two (2) consecutive spaces would be needed, the applicant would need to submit a $400 refundable deposit fee along with their application. 

The T-Hangars have two (2) size options available: End Unit and Center Unit. The End Unit is slightly wider than a Center Unit (+ 2 inches). The dimensions provided below are the 'clear unit' dimensions, not the physical hangar dimensions; providing a 2-4 inch allowance between the aircraft and the walls of the hangar.

OVERALL AIRCRAFT LENGTH = 32'

WIDTH (clear door) = 41'-6"

TAIL SECTION CLEARANCE = 15'-10" (length), 20'-8" (width)

HEIGHT = 12'

NOTE: It is the Applicant's responsibility to ensure that their aircraft will fit into the hangar type requested. The $200 deposit will NOT be refunded once a Hangar Lease Agreement has been signed; therefore, it is imperative for an applicant to consider the dimensions of the hangar before selecting preferred hangar type (Main or T-Hangar).

The $200 deposit is refundable up until a Hangar Lease Agreement has been signed. If a Hangar Lease Agreement has not yet been signed, once we receive a request to send back the deposit money, we will remove your name from the Hangar Waiting List, and send the funds to the physical address provided on the application, within ten (10) business days.
