Martin Aviation Repair Services, LLC. was founded in February 2022, as a response to the extreme shortage of aircraft A&P mechanics holding an IA Certification from the FAA. This shortage had been most felt within the General Aviation Industry; as evidenced by lengthy wait times for aircraft owners to receive Annual Inspections and/or repair services on their private aircraft. We are a veteran, family-owned business with over 32 years combined experience in aviation; and currently offer both inspection and repair services for the General Aviation Industry.
Our vast knowledge in aviation is a result of both training and experience as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with an Inspection Authorization (IA), and in the realm of Aircraft Instrumentation and Avionics systems. We have worked in both General and Commercial aviation, and have extensive experience in Aviation Safety Management.
Our expertise and knowledge will be your ally to ensure your aircraft is airworthy and maintained in top condition!

Gear Up Aircraft Rental is a Part 61 flight school dedicated to providing personalized, flexible aviation instruction for students of all experience levels. Located in the FBO of the Cochran Airport, Gear Up Aircraft Rental offers a welcoming environment where aspiring and current pilots can advance their skills at their own pace.
Our fleet consists of two well-maintained Piper Cherokee 140 aircraft, ideal for primary flight training, currency flights, and leisure flying. Known for their stability, reliability, and forgiving handling, our Cherokees offer an excellent platform for students earning their Private Pilot Certificate as well as licensed pilots seeking affordable rental options.
At Gear Up Aircraft Rental, instruction is provided by experienced, FAA-certified flight instructors who prioritize safety, clear communication, and real-world flying skills. Whether you’re pursuing your first solo, preparing for a checkride, or simply looking to enjoy the freedom of flight, our team is committed to helping you reach your aviation goals.
