Cochran Municipal Airport (K48A) (“the Airport”) is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of individuals who visit, use, or participate in activities at the Airport. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected in connection with airport operations, services, and event registrations. As a General Aviation airport, Cochran Municipal Airport collects only limited information necessary to support safe operations, tenant and community engagement, and event coordination.

The Airport may collect personal information that is voluntarily provided, including but not limited to:

• Contact information (name, email address, phone number, mailing address)
   
• Aircraft information (aircraft tail number, aircraft type, pilot/operator name)
   
• Tenant or business information (for hangar tenants, vendors, or airport users)

• Credit Card and/or ACH Banking information (for the collection of tenant rents).
   
• Event registration information, including:
   
  • Participant names
     
  • Emergency contact information
     
  • Aircraft or vehicle details (if applicable to the event)
     
• Website usage data, such as form submissions or basic site analytics
   

The Airport does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers or medical information.

Information collected by Cochran Municipal Airport may be used to:

• Support airport operations and aviation safety
   
• Communicate with pilots, tenants, visitors, and event participants
   
• Administer leases, permits, and airport agreements

• Process rent payments via ACH Bank Transfer or Credit Card information
  
• Plan, coordinate, and manage airport-hosted events and activities
   
• Respond to inquiries, requests, or emergency situations
   
• Comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
   

Personal information collected for event registration purposes is used solely for event planning, communication, safety coordination, and post-event follow-up.

Cochran Municipal Airport does not sell or rent personal information.

Information may be shared only in limited circumstances, including:

• With government agencies or regulatory authorities when required by law
   
• With emergency responders or law enforcement for safety, security, or emergency response
   
• With service providers or event partners assisting with airport operations or events, only when necessary and appropriate
   

Any shared information is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the intended purpose.

The Airport takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. Access to collected information is limited to authorized airport personnel and designated event organizers.

Airport-hosted events may include photography, video recording, or other media coverage for promotional or historical purposes. By participating in airport events, individuals acknowledge that images or recordings may be used in Airport communications, social media, or promotional materials.

The Airport may use basic cookies or analytics tools to improve functionality and understand usage trends. These tools do not personally identify individuals and are used only for general site performance analysis.

Cochran Municipal Airport is an active aviation facility with public and operational areas. The Airport is not responsible for images, recordings, or observations made by third parties in public spaces.

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill operational, event-related, legal, or regulatory requirements. Information is securely disposed of when no longer required.

The Airport does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental or guardian consent, including for event registrations. 

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in airport operations, events, or applicable laws. Updated versions will include a revised effective date.
